I particularly like the KWL strategy although it takes time when you’re prepping kids to read a comprehension and answer questions in a given time period.Otherwise I let them identify a “hint word” in the question and look for that word in the text, read what comes before and after the word and ensure the sentence identified answers what is being asked.See More
